Yes, dancing! One thing I've learned about myself - I am not very coordinated! I have found that doing things backwards is really hard. It's week six and already I can see how much I've improved with my balance and with doing things backwards. Tanya told me that in ballroom dancing, the woman "gets" to do everything backwards. So, does that mean I could learn to dance?
Well, I don't know about that, but I do know that this morning I was dancing with the stars! I was "dancing" with my new found group of friends. We handled the heavy 25 lb. plate today and we pulled the heavier tires with those lovely sledge hammers - backwards, of course.
We are stars!!

Alisa,
I can't believe this was posted by the woman who was outside, behind a wall, throwing up morning after the morning that first week. I am SO proud of what you have accomplished and am thrilled that you said "Yes" that day on the phone.
On some level, I feel that you are my own...that you are my baby that I am nurturing along to some goal in December. But of course, it is God who is nurturing you, whispering "You can do it" in your ear when your brain (and legs) say you can't.
So proud...so proud...so proud!
Renee
Alisa,
Your post gave me chills! ~and I'm honored to be a 'Dancing Star' with you! We've come a long way and I can't wait to see what the next 6 weeks will be like!
Hugs,
